Some designs start with a stone. This one started with a shape.

The octagon has eight sides for a reason. In numerology and across ancient traditions, eight is the number of wholeness — of cycles completed, of balance between the material and the infinite, of a life fully inhabited. I built this ring around that geometry deliberately. Not as decoration. As intention.

The central ring is octagonal in silhouette — eight clean faces that catch light from every angle — engineered to nest and interlock within the sculptural external ring, the two pieces forming a single architectural statement when worn together. From the side, the interlocking structure reveals itself completely: two rings designed as one, inseparable in form even when worn apart.

Because they can be worn apart. On the same hand, on different fingers, stacked or separated depending on the day, the mood, the moment. Versatility built into the very structure of the design — because a ring that only works one way isn't working hard enough.

At the centre, a peacock teal kite-cut Australian sapphire from Queensland sits in an open claw setting — its pointed geometry echoing the angular lines of the band beneath it. Unheated. One-of-one. Entirely at home.

This is a ring for someone who understands that wholeness isn't a destination. It's a design principle.
