Made By Two is a private wedding ring workshop where you and your partner stop being consumers and start being creators.

 Join me, Kimba Pham — a metalsmith with over a decade of making experience — at my nature-surrounded studio in Eltham North, Melbourne, and make your own wedding rings by hand.

Forged by you. Finished by hand. Worn for life.

What Makes This Different

Completely private. This isn't a group class. It's just the two of you in an independent jewellery studio — no strangers, no noise, no rushing.

No experience needed. I guide you through every step, from raw metal to polished ring, using professional tools. If you can follow instructions, you can make a ring.

Full creative control. You choose the metal, profile, width, and texture. Post-workshop additions — custom gem setting in diamonds or sapphires, and laser engraving — are available for both packages.

Celebration included. Every workshop includes bubbles to toast your work. Bespoke and Ultimate tiers include artisanal grazing platters or curated local lunches.

Your day, documented. I will capture your process with a digital photo and video album so you can focus on making.

Two Ways to Make Your Rings

Hand Fabricating — single session, 4–5 hours The traditional approach. You work directly with metal, shape it, finish it, and take your rings home the same day.

Wax Sculpting — two-part workshop Best for organic shapes, heavy textures, or sculpted forms. You carve your designs in wax in session one (2–2.5 hours); I handle the casting, then you return to hand-finish (2–2.5 hours) — or I can finish them for you. Note: Platinum 950 is only available via this method.

Your Package Options

Pricing excludes metals. Because gold and platinum prices move with the market, your metal of choice is quoted at the time of enquiry — so you always know exactly what you're paying.

01. The Essential — $1,100 weekday / $1,250 weekend The classic. Perfect for elegant, timeless bands — round, D-shape, or flat profiles. Everything you need, nothing you don't.

02. The Bespoke — $1,450 weekday / $1,600 weekend For the storytellers. Best for complex forms, intricate organic textures, fitted shapes, or pieces with multiple gemstones. More time, more depth, more yours.

03. The Ultimate — from $2,400 The full retreat. A complete day with a curated lunch and local accommodation included. For couples who want to make a proper occasion of it.

Weekend rates apply Friday evenings through Sunday.

Metals & Add-Ons

Metals — choose from 9ct, 14ct, or 18ct gold, or Platinum 950. All metals are quoted separately based on current market rates at the time of enquiry.

Upcycled heirloom gold — if you have old gold you'd like to reuse, I can assess its suitability and refine it for a small preparation fee.

Gemstone setting — add brilliant or princess cut diamonds or sapphires. Accent stones from $65–$185+ per gem.

Laser engraving — available as a post-workshop addition.
